Tips: 2020 Mood, getting abducted by aliens. JK! How fun is this new gigantic colorful vintage mural at the new Heights House Hotel? If you stand where I am standing it makes it seem like you are being abducted by aliens. Give it a try and tag me in the picture!
Don’t forget to bring your wide eye angle lens! I had to photograph this mural from an angle to get as much as possible in the frame.
Location: Heights House Hotel
Artist: Sar_sergioaguilar & Xusangel
Tips: This mural is located right next to the Houston Heights mural above at the new Heights House Hotel. This hotel is going to be so Instagrammable, I can’t wait to stay there and show y’all!
Location: Parking lot of Cafeza and Cafe Brussels
Artist: Anatronen1971
Tips: Another huge new mural addition in the heights! Bring your wide eye angle lens! Again, took this from an angle so I could capture the whole mural.

Tips: Another inspirational mural. I love murals with a meaning! I also love the pastel colors and the California vibes!
This mural is located on the side of some apartments. James did have to step into the street to get the full mural so make sure to be careful or bring a wide eye angle lens. I also parked at the apartments right outside the gate for a quick picture.
Location: Alexan Lower Heights
Artist: KelseyMontagueArt
Tips: I am sure y’all have seen Kelsey Montague’s wings all over the US! Well, we finally have our own set of wings in Houston!
The apartments have plenty of parking at the front. In the middle of the apartments there is an opening without any gates and you are free to walk in and find this mural. Have some fun and try different angles!

Location: Corner of Jensen and Clinton
Artist: Capdavjon
Tips: This mural is located on the corner of a very busy street. I have never had that many people stare, or had people slow down to see what I am doing. Then, this sweet man rolled down his window to tell me I was doing great LOL Gotta love Houston!
The mural plays symbolic homage to how the bayou connects our city and honors our physical roots in the Historic Fifth Ward & East End.
So, don’t forget your wide eye angle lens as it was almost impossible to get the full mural, and have fun capturing all the vivid colors!

Location: Texas Avenue BNB

Colorful Wall
Location: 5913 Washington
